Losing One of Our Own

Preparing to Honor our Public Safety Family

No single event is more devastating to an organization and it’s leaders than a Line of Duty death.

It’s better to develop policies when it is not emotional for guidance when it is emotional”.

Do you know the difference--Line of Duty versus On Duty?

What honors are out there for you and to what level.

Who gets PSOB Benefits, how and are my people covered?

This program provides basic information on assisting organization in preparing their organization if they have a member pass away, whether it is a Line of Duty, Non-Line of Duty, or they wish to honor a retiree. It will provide information so organizations can develop a policy / guideline and have it in place, so that "Emotions" do not take over.

This program, approximately 2 hours in length, is for board members, administrators, supervisors, and anyone that might be involved in preparing their organization before something happens. And to understand what honors are available. The Missouri Bureau of EMS has approved this program for CEU’s in elective under preparation. This program is provided Free of Charge.
